All software breaks. Someone has to fix it.
For forty years, that someone was you.
Self-healing.
Software that takes care of itself.
It finds its own bugs. Fixes its own problems. Keeps its own rules up to date. You never think about any of it.
Fixed before you wake up.
When something does go wrong, your app tells you. In plain language. What happened, what it means for you, and something you've never seen before. The repair, live.
The rules change. Your numbers don't break.
Mileage rates move. VAT moves. Governments change their minds mid-year. Light watches the official sources for every app. When the sources update, the app updates. You did nothing.
Watched. Never watching you.
Light monitors the apps, not your data. It records that something failed and where. Never a name, never an amount, never a keystroke. All of it on Light's own European infrastructure.
Autonomous. Not unsupervised.
The system detects, agents fix, agents verify. Routine fixes ship on their own. Critical updates keep a human in the loop: reviewed and signed off by a person before they reach you.
It just keeps working.
Six months from now, these apps will be better than they are today. You won't have installed an update, filed a ticket, or read a release note. Nothing will have asked for your attention.

Questions about connecting
My bank isn't on the list. Now what?
It can still be added. Bank connectivity runs on formats, and new ones get built: the bank supplies documentation for outgoing payments and account statements, the format is developed and tested against real files from your accounts, and it goes live. Tell us which bank and which countries you pay from and we will scope it.
Does Light replace my ERP, or sit next to it?
Light is the ledger. It is not a reporting layer bolted onto an ERP you keep paying for — the general ledger, sub-ledgers, consolidation and the close all live in Light, and every app feeds them.
How does payroll actually post?
A payroll app fetches finished, approved runs from the vendor once a period and posts them to the ledger as balanced journal entries, idempotently, so a re-run does not double-book. Cost centres map to whichever dimension your company uses.
Don't see yours?
Tell us what you need to connect. Most of the list above started as somebody asking.
